How do you want to grow during your first year at Loyola? |
On my first year at Loyola, I want to grow up to become a responsible, well rounded, reliable, and humble person. While staying in Loyola I want to be responsible in the way that I am not only organized and focused so that I can do well academically, but also responsible for my own actions so that I can be more independent and take care of myself. I want to be more proactive and learn to ask for help when I need it. Another goal I have for my first year at Loyola is to be reliable. I want to be someone my friends and peers can depend on if they ever need school help or life help because I believe everyone needs a friend in college. I would like to be more outgoing and and reach out to more people on campus and in my community. I can do this by joining more clubs and seeking volunteer opportunities anywhere in the city. Lastly, I would like to be more well-rounded and humble. Meeting people with different background and being exposed to a variety of culture on campus and in the city will help me grow to become a more open- minded and well-rounded person. Overall, I believe I can achieve all of these goals during my first year at Loyola because of all the opportunities provided to me!
